Here’s a “render-by-photo” I did to practice photorealism in retail renderings. Based on the photos by Gidon Levin of the Italian fusion food restaurant Roma, planned and designed by Studio Gal Gerber. I originally found while browsing the Retail Design Blog for inspiration.
Since I intended this project only to span a single image, I took some liberties to change a few things and make it more of a café than a restaurant.
Some textures from Friendly Shade and Poliigon were used, as well as some models from Design Connected and 3DSky.
Made with 3Ds Max, V-Ray, and RailClone.
